Overview
Cave Creek Campground is open for reservations Memorial Day - Labor Day weekends. Sites are open to tent camping only and cannot accommodate RVs or travel trailers.
Reservations are accepted 1 month in advance either online or at one of the visitor centers between 9 am and 4 pm. Visitor centers are located at 201 Caves Highway and 21000 Caves Highway, Cave Junction, Oregon 97523. Only credit/debit cards are accepted for all cave tour fees, campground fees, and Interagency Passes.
Entrance to Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve is free, but cave access is only available with a guide.
The Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve offers a variety of hiking trails through old growth forests, high mountain meadows, or along babbling moutain creeks. The surface areas of the park remain open year-round. There is no fee to enter the park or hike the surface hiking trails.
Looking for an adventure? Explore a mountain inside and out. Twist and bend through angled marble passages deep underground on a ranger-guided tour of the Oregon Caves. Wonder at the smooth flowstones, stalactites and stalagmites. Above ground, you can hike old growth forests and high mountain meadows. Visit, discover, and have fun. Cave tours generally run late March through early November. Hiking trails are open year-round.

Charges & Cancellations
Cancellation must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your selected time to receive a refund. You may cancel online or by calling (877) 444-6777. On site refunds are not available.
Expect construction and other summer traffic related delays when planning your route through Hwy. 199 and Hwy. 46.
Directions
The drive from Cave Junction to the Cave Creek Campground takes a minimum of 45 minutes. The last 8 miles up the Caves Highway are narrow, steep, and winding. Large RV's and Travel Trailers are not recommended. Car sickness is a real possibility.
For Googlemap and similar applications, enter "Oregon Caves" - make sure "Oregon Caves National Monument" comes up as your destination.
DO NOT trust Google Map, GPS devices and similar applications - from the east these direct you through Williams Oregon and over a confusing route on mountainous gravel roads.
From I-5/Grants Pass:
Take exit 58 to merge onto NE 6th St/OR-99/Redwood Hwy
Continue to follow Redwood Hwy (3 mi)
Turn right at US-199 toward Cave Junction (29 mi)
In Cave Junction, turn left onto OR-46; If time allows stop at Illinois Valley Visitor Center for current conditions and information.
Follow OR-46 for 15.75 miles to the campground entrance.
From Crescent City, California:
Drive north on US-101
Take exit 794 to merge onto US-199 toward Grants Pass/I-5
In Cave Junction, turn right onto OR-46; If time allows stop at the Illinois Valley Visitor Center for current conditions and information.
Follow OR-46 for 15.75 miles to the campground entrance.
From Brookings, Oregon:
Drive south on US-101
Turn left at CA-197
Turn left onto US-199 toward Grants Pass/I-5
In Cave Junction, turn right at OR-46; If time allowing stop at the Illinois Valley Visitor Center for current conditions and information;
Follow OR-46 for 15.75 miles to the campground entrance.
