This campground offers 29 first-come, first-served Scan & Pay campsites. Sites are best for tent camping due to unpaved roads, steep hills and short pull-ins. Although not a full-service campground, Meeker Park Overflow Campground tends to fill to capacity on weekends due to its proximity to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.
Picnic tables, fire rings, and portable toilets are provided. There is no drinking water, electricity, hook-ups, dump stations, or showers. All campsites with a tent pad have a bear locker.
Rocky Mountain National Park
The campground is located on the west side of Colorado Highway 7 at mile-marker 11. It is approximately 10 miles north of the intersection of Colorado Highways 7 and 72 (which is 21 miles west-northwest of Lyons), 13 miles south of Estes Park, and 31 miles north of Nederland.
