Description

The Big Bend Trail is a 14-mile segment of winter trail that is located in the White Mountains National Recreation Area. The primary access for the Colorado Creek Cabin is via a 1-mile trail segment from the Colorado Creek Trail. The trail traverses large expanses of open areas and a long high ridge system that receives a lot of wind. The trail is often drifted and obscured. Check trail condition updates before traveling this segment of winter trail.

Directions

The Big Bend Trail is located in the White Mountains National Recreation Area. Use the Wickersham Trail via 28 mile Elliott Highway or the Colorado Creek trail via 57 mile Elliott Highway for access.
