Extensive public lands through the White River Field Office provide outstanding opportunities for big game hunting and dispersed camping. For more information, please contact the White River Field Office.

Directions

To access the Big Trujillo River Take Out-Put In Site travel Rangely, CO. Then travel south off State Highway 64 near the Loaf N Jug gas station on the west side of town onto River Rd, which becomes County Road 2. Travel approx. 5 miles on County Road 2 and turn right on a dirt road just past the Entering Public Lands sign. Travel approx. 0.1 mile to the river access site which includes a parking area and easy river take-out/put-in site.
